Clearing Cache on iOS
1. Open Settings: Tap the Settings app.
2. Scroll Down and Tap General: Then, tap iPhone Storage.
3. Select the App: Tap the app for which you want to clear the cache.
4. Tap Offload App: This will free up storage used by the app, but keep its documents and data. You can reinstall the app to regain access to this data.
5. Alternatively, Delete and Reinstall the App: This will remove all data and cache for the app.
Clearing Cache on Android
For all apps:
1. Open Settings: Tap the Settings app on your home screen or app drawer.
2. Tap Storage: This may be under Device Care on some devices.
3. Tap Internal Storage: Or go directly to Apps if available.
4. Tap Cached Data: Or manage storage and find Cached data.
5. Confirm Your Action: Tap OK when prompted to clear cached data for all apps.
For Specific Apps:
1. Open Settings: Tap the Settings app.
2. Tap Apps: This might also be labeled as Applications or Apps & notifications.
3. Select the App: Tap the app for which you want to clear the cache.
4. Tap Storage: This might be listed as Storage & cache.
5. Tap Clear Cache: This will remove cached data for that specific app.
